Tomatoes are probably one of the most combined vegetables ( or is it fruits) in the entire world.
The Italians are experts in cultivating and preparing this ingredient.
Cut about 800 grams (for 2p)of roma tomatoes in halves. Spread on an oven dish. Chop 4 garlic cloves, 1chili and spread on the tomatoes. Season with pepper, salt and sundried oregano. Spread some olive oil. Bake in the oven at 200° for 20 minutes. Slice 2 fresh onion. Spread on the tomatoes. Spread 3 table spoons of grinded walnuts and almonds on the tomatoes. Finish with another little drizzle of olive oil. Bake for another 20 minutes.
Serve the tomatoes with lucious burrata, fresh basil and a simple arugula salad. ❣
