Brussels sprouts, chestnuts, potato, rosemary, garlic, olive oil and tomino cheese from Piemonte are the ingredients for a fabulous winter oven dish.
Clean 600 grams of brussels sprouts for 2p. Cut them in halves. Pre-cook in the microwave for 4 minutes. Wash 600 grams of potatoes for 2p. Cut in quarters. Pre-cook in the microwave for 4 minutes. Take 2 individual oven dishes. Divide potatoes and sprouts in the 2 dishes. Add 2 chopped garlic cloves in each dish. Spread fresh rosemary, pepper and salt. Add 2 table spoons of olive oil in each oven dish. Divide 150 grams of pre-cooked chestnuts in the oven dishes. Stir to mix ingredients and flavors. Finish with 100 grams of tomino ( divided and put the ‘skin’ upwards) and a little drizzle of good olive oil.

Bake in the oven at 200° for 25-30 minutes, until ready and golden brown. Buon appetito!

PS When your heating isn’t working, one needs to even more creative to get the right ‘warmth’.
Mmmm…sounds like a lovely dish which I can make in SA….in winter next year🙏❤️
