There are still fresh figs to collect. Our guests have never eaten fresh figs, so let’s try to maximize their flavor in an easy starter.Spread some arugula on each dish. Cut a few figs in quarters and spread 4-6 quarters on each plate. Spread some lucious burrata. Season with pepper and salt. Finish with a drizzle of good olive oil and old balsamic vinegar. Simple awesome Italian food.
I love fresh figs, but we seldom get them here. Lucky you!! Enjoy.

It’s an easy growing tree in Tuscany. We have one just outside our hedge, which is a real treasure. You have more than good reasons to come and visit. 😘
