Still summer

We enjoy the long Italian summer. Weekends are so much more relaxed if you can spend time outside, especially when you have a pool

A ‘bloody mary- shrimp salad is more than welcome to finish a peaceful Sunday.

Mix 1 large table spoon of concentrated tomato puree with 2 teaspoons of Worcester sauce, 2 teaspoons of tabasco, 6 teaspoons of olive oil, salt and pepper. Divide the mixture in 2. Put 1/2 portion in a larger bowl. Add 300 grams of raw, cleaned large shrimps. Mix. Set aside.

Slice 1 avocado. Spread some lemone juice to keep them green. Cut 300 grams of cherry tomatoes in halves. Spread 100 grams of arugula on a large plate. Spread the tomatoes and avocado. Fry the shrimps with 4 chopped garlic cloves and the marinade.

Mix the other 1/2 of the mixture with 4 teaspoons of old apple vinegar. Season with pepper and salt.

Spread the shrimps on the salad. Finish with the dressing. Serve with bread or…French fries 🍟.

Enjoy one of the last evenings outside. ❤
