Purple potatoes, red onion, sage and taleggio on a whole wheat puff pastry is not only beautiful but also delicious.
It’s the first time that I discovered whole wheat puff pastry, it’s meant to be covered with warm colors 😉.
Wash and slice 400 grams of purple potatoes thinly. Slice 1red onion and 4 garlic cloves thinly. Chop 2 table spoons of sage leafs. Mix the potatoes with 2 table spoons of olive oil. Spread the ingredients on the puff pastry. Season regularly with pepper, salt and sage. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil and 150 grams of sliced taleggio. Bake in the oven at 200 for 30-40 mins, until ready and golden brown.
This look fabulous! I haven’t seen whole wheat puff pastry, but I’ll be on the lookout now. Love the abundance of onions on this!

Thanks, Dorothy. I think Buitoni was the brand for the puff pastry. Have a nice week.

Makes the mouth water😻. It would be lovely as an appetizer in small pieces😋
