A simple whole fish

Roasted potatoes, roasted tomatoes and a whole fish on top is delicious, super simple and healthy food.

Buy a fresh whole fish ( see bream or see bass). Scrape the skin and remove the intestines. Wash and dry.

Cut 500 grams of potatoes in wedges. Put in an oven dish. Spread a drizzle of olive oil. Bake at 180° for 30 mins. Stir halfway.

Chop 4 garlic cloves. Mix with 1 table spoon of dried thyme, pepper and salt. Half 4 tomatoes. Spread the garlic mixture on the tomatoes. Put the tomatoes in the same oven dish. Bake for 20 mins.

Put slices of a lemon and fresh thyme in the fish. Season with pepper and salt.

Put the fish on the potatoes and tomatoes and bake for another 20 mins (only if you have a small fish of 500-700 grams for 2p, if the fish is bigger you better use a larger oven dish and need more baking time).

Easy dinner with a few ingredients.
