I knew it would be awesome

You know, or perhaps you don’t (and then you are lucky) hospital food is often awful. White cabbage is partly responsible for this statement. A new era  for white cabbage has started, since today!

Cut a whole white cabbage of 1 kilo in slices of 1.5-2cm. Put the slices on baking paper on an oven tray. Mix 3 table spoons of olive oil with 2 teaspoons of dried thyme, 4 pressed garlic cloves, pepper and salt. Spread the olive oil mixture on both sides of the slices. Bake the cabbage in the oven at 200° for 40 mins. Turn halfway. Put a halved lemon on the tray. Remove the lemon from the tray after 10 mins.

Serve the cabbage as side dish with fish, meat, or just enjoy. The roasted lemon is the finishing touch. Fabulous delicious! DocV loves white cabbage since today, but will never love hospital food for many reasons ;-).
