Chili sin carne

Since autumn is in the air, although I really hope this is not the real start, certain food will warm us up. Lentils (1 can of 400 gram or 200 grams of dried lentils) are a perfect alternative for meat.

For 2p, fry 1 chopped onion, 4 garlic cloves, 1 chili pepper, and 1  bell pepper. Fry the onion and garlic first in a drizzle of olive oil. Add the bell pepper, the chili pepper, 1 table spoon of garam masala and 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds. Add 400 grams of oven dried cherry tomatoes for extra flavor, and 1 can of peeled tomatoes. Stir now and again. Add water if the sauce is too thick. Add salt, pepper, and worcester sauce to improve the flavor. Towards the end, add the boiled lentils. Serve with rice, gaucamole, thick yoghurt and fresh coriander or fresh parsley.
