Courgettes are so great in combination with fish and meat, but are even great just by themselves.
The variety of recipes is incredible. If you use the flowers you need real fresh ones. Make a tempura dough with 2 table spoons of flower, 2 table spoons of sparkling water or beer and 1 battered egg. Add some salt, pepper and even some dried basil or oregano for extra flavor. Fry the soaked flowers in very hot oil for a few mins until crispy.
To grill courgettes cut them in slices of 1-1 ½ cm. Oil them with a little brush and grill. Put the grilled courgettes in a marinade of chopped garlic, pepper, salt and chopped sage.
This combination is great as appetizer, or as sidedish.
