Yiouvetsi is a traditional greek dish originally served with lamb which we will exchange by chicken.
Chop 1 red onion, 4 garlic cloves, and if you like it spicy, 1 spicy little pepper. Fry in 1 table spoon of olive oil in an oven dish which can be covered. Add the meat (250 grams for 2), 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika powder and bake (in certain recipes some red wine will be added to intensify the taste). Add 1 can of chopped tomatoes, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 tablespoon of oregano and 1 can of water. Add some salt and leave in the oven at 180° for 30 mins. After 30 mins remove the dish and add the greek pasta, orzo (120 grams for 2). Put back in the oven for another 30 mins until the pasta is soft. Add some water if necessary. To freshen the dish serve with a greek salad with tomato, cucumber, a few black olives, and some feta cheese.
