My only good reason to drive to Siena this week was to buy some fresh fish. Frozen fish is okay but fresh fish is awesome.
A sea bream in the oven is super simple, incredibly delicious, easygoing with any kind of cooking style.
Ask the fish monger to clean the fish if you don’t want to do it yourself (less smelly garbage 😉). Make a few deep incisions in the body. Marinate the fish in ready made teriyaki sauce during approximately 30 mins (turn halfway). Put a few slices of lemon in the tummy. Bake in the oven at 180° for 25-30 mins.
Serve with soybeans and mushrooms fried in olive oil with 4 chopped garlic cloves, 2 chilies, grated ginger and finished with fresh coriander, lime and soy sauce.
Yum! Looks delicious. Cooking with all the bones lends so much flavor to the fish.
