A healthy snack during my study moment

Last weekend I started my new course (lucky me to get this opportunity), ‘Master esperienziale in Gestalt counseling’. Remember, docV is a real physician. During my years of practice, my interest in the person behind the patient  grew more and more. After almost 1 year and a half in Italy, even now I’m registred as a doctor here, I feel I want to focus more and more on the person, instead of the patient. Thanks to Francesca, the secretary at Iris’s work, I discovered this course. The challenge  to sit for a few hours and to listen and read only in Italian will be the most difficult part in the beginning ;-).

So, if I take the time to reread the texts I want some tea or coffee and …something sweet. Mix 1 ripe mango, 1 banana in the blender. Mix with the juice of 1 lime. Boil 500 ml of semi skimmed milk. Add 2 little bags of vanilla sugar, a pinch of saffron and 125 grams of dessert rice. Boil, while stirring regularly, for approx 40 mins, until the rice is soft. To reduce the kcal I add some liquid stevia (taste to obtain your sweetness). Divide the mango in 8 glasses and divide the sweet rice on top.
