How to combine a pepper sauce with ‘flatulent’Brussels sprouts?

Iris wants to eat something with pepper sauce and I want to make something with Brussels sprouts. Why not combine in one dish?

Clean 600 grams of Brussels sprouts and cut in quarters. Put in salted water together with 4 chopped medium sized potatoes and 1 bay leaf. Boil until tender. Drain, add 1 tea spoon of butter, 1 table spoon of savory and make a rough puree. Taste, add pepper, salt and nutmeg. Fry 300 grams of chicken minced meat with 1 tea spoon of savory, 1 chopped red onion, 4 chopped garlic cloves and 1 spicy little pepper. Add pepper and salt. Boil 125 ml of light cream with 1 table spoon of green pepper balls and 125 ml of chicken stock (from a cube is ok).

Oil an oven dish. Put a layer of puree, a layer of the minced meat mixture, some pepper sauce, another layer of puree and pour the sauce on top. Finish with 1 table spoon of grated parmigiano.

Bake in the oven at 180° for 25-30 mins.

PS Savory smells and taste a bit like thyme, but is an ideal herb to mix with ‘flatulent’ vegetables!
