I’m aware of my ecological footprint. With full respect of nature, climate, season I hope to become more responsible. Now and again I fly back to my home country to visit family and friends. Now and again they take a plane to visit us. North Sea shrimps are always superb present if the travelling conditions guarantee a safe transfer. I do realise that all that flying and the illegal transport of food is not very ecological, but I hope you understand.
For 2p, pre bake 2 sliced and oiled eggplants in the oven on baking paper.
Put them in a oven dish.
Prepare a thick cheesy bechamel sauce made with flour, butter, 500 ml of semi skimmed milk, nutmeg, pepper, salt and 100 grams of a mixture of gruyère, parmigiano, emmental. Once the thick sauce is ready, add 250 grams of import North Sea shrimps.
Finish with some breadcrumb. Bake in the oven at 200° for approx 30-40 mins, until golden brown.
Serve with something green.
