Teenagers to feed

A menu for 5 adults and 2 teenagers is a little bit different than the normal daily cooking.

For the first evening I plan an all-in-one Italian dish.

With 750 grams of minced chicken meat, 150 grams of sausage meat, 1 table spoon of mixed chicken herbs, 1 table spoon of dried oregano I can roll 30 chubby meatballs. Put them on baking paper. Bake in the oven at 180° for 30 mins.

Prepare a simple tomato sauce. Chop and fry 1 red onion, 4 garlic cloves in a drizzle of olive oil. Add 3 cans of tomatoes, dried basil and a small amount of red wine to rinse the cans. Taste, add pepper, salt and a pinch of sugar. Allow to simmer for approximately 20 mins.

Mix the sauce with 3 bags of ready made gnocchi.

Spread the meatballs and sauce on a large oven dish. Finish with mozzarella and fresh basil.

Bake in the oven at 180° for 30-40 mins. Serve with some green salad.
