Cold, rainy and dark weather is not exactly what we want in april. Thanks to Oskar we go for a nice walk and earn extra ‘bonus excercise’ to compensate an all inclusive afternoon tea.
Strolling through a cook book of Ursula Ferrigno, I find a perfect recipe for an apple pie.
Melt 115 grams of butter. Mix with 80 ( originally 115 grams) of vanillated powder sugar ( originally normal sugar), 115 grams of almond flour, 60 grams of self raising flour, and 2 egg yolks until you obtain a smooth mixture. Beat the egg whites until peaks. Add to the mixture and stir.
Spread 2 chopped apples on a greased pie form. Pour the mixture on the apples.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 40-45 minutes. Cover if necessary.
Enjoy afternoon teatime.
