Simple strudel

I love an afternoon tea/coffee moment with something sweet. Now and again I prepare a cake, or some dessert instead of a dry cookie.

The pears and apples are becoming overripe in the fruitbasket. I am sure they will not be eaten anymore unless I put them in a cake or strudel.

Chop 4 pears and 1 apple in smaller cubes. Mix with a drizzle of lemon juice, a handful raisins and some dried cranberries for extra color. Add 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder.

Put a rectangular puff pastry on baking paper. Put the mixed fruit on the pastry. Leave some space at each side. Spread some egg yolk on the borders with a brush. Cover with another rectangular puff pastry. Use a fork to close the sides. Spread the egg yolk on the pastry.

Bake in the oven at 180° during 30-40

mins until golden brown and crispy.

Share with friends and keep a piece for mama Anna.

PS no extra sugar needed!
