We cannot complain about the weather here, and a rainy day is often an ideal moment to catch up with a few tasks inside the house.
Boil two sweet corn cobs in salty water for approx 20 mins. Cut them in smaller rolls. Spread 2 sliced avocado( with a drizzle of lemon juice to keep the bright green color), lettuce, radishes and 200 grams of North Sea shrimps (found in our freezer, yuppie) on a nice flat dish. Fry the corn in olive oil (try to fry them on the corn side). Add 4 chopped garlic cloves, 2 chopped spring onions, 1 chopped spicy green pepper. Add 400 grams of clean squid and bake until ready. Put the squid and the corn on the salad and serve with a dressing made by 2 table spoons of home made mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of curry powder and 1 table spoon of lemon juice. Our cats were extremely friendly ;-)!
