This amazing city never disappoints me. Our appartment in Soho was a perfect location to explore the different areas. Being exhausted every evening didn’t stop me cooking in a kitchen with a minimum of tools. Breakfast, dinner in the appartment, and lunch outside is my perfect combination.
My first inspection of the kitchen in a rented appartment is necessary to find out what the cooking possibilities are. The nearby shops offer me the ingredients. Don’t make it too complicated at the end of a tiring day ;-).
Day 1 : simple pasta with mixed mediterranean vegetables and feta cheese
For 3p, chop and fry 2 eggplants in a drizzle of olive oil. Add 4 chopped garlic cloves, 3 chopped courgettes, 1 chopped spicy little pepper and 1 chopped red bell pepper. Fry until everything is ‘al dente’. Add pepper and salt. Boil the pasta. Serve with crumbled feta cheese and fresh basil.
